Fix a worn or leaking gearbox. Swapping in new oil seals and O-rings can bring back the watertight seal of your Maxwell Freedom gearbox housing.
Every seal and O-ring in one kit. The kit has matched oil seals and O-rings sized for Freedom Series windlasses, so you do not have to hunt for each size.
Check the gearbox oil level. The sight glass in the kit lets you inspect the gearbox oil level.
Refresh seals before winter. Fall is a good time to replace worn seals, so the windlass is ready when boating season returns in spring.

What it is

This is a Maxwell seal kit for the gearbox of Freedom Series 1000 and 1500 rope/chain windlasses. It includes two 40 x 55 x 8 mm oil seals, one 25 x 47 x 7 mm oil seal, two O-rings and a sight glass.
